Many award-winning wines continue to come from Bainbridge Island, some with grapes that are grown right here. Most wineries are generally open on the weekends (except in October, when they are REALLY busy making wine). The Winery Alliance of Bainbridge Island schedules four special Wine on the Rock weekends during the year. Four tasting rooms are within easy walking distance of the Winslow ferry terminal.
